Delhi Police Constable Online Application 2025
The online application process for Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025 will commence once the official notification is issued in July 2025. Delhi Police Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Delhi Police Constable 2025 Examination, candidates must meet the following four eligibility conditions:
Nationality / Citizenship
Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Educational Qualification for Delhi Police Constable
Candidates should have completed their 10+2 (Senior Secondary) education from a recognized board by the closing date of the online application submission.
Relaxation in education criteria (up to 11th pass) is applicable only for:
i) Personnel such as bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., currently serving in the Delhi Police.
ii) Children of serving, retired, or deceased police personnel, including Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) of Delhi Police.
Age Limit for Delhi Police ConstableApplicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age. Their date of birth should fall between 02-07-2000 and 01-07-2007 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation beyond the upper limit is permitted under the following conditions:
i) Up to 5 years of relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST).
ii) Up to 3 years for candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
iii) A maximum of 5 years for outstanding sportspersons who have represented their state at the national level or the country at the international level in recognized sports events within the last three years from the application deadline.
iv) Departmental candidates currently serving in Delhi Police may avail relaxation up to:
- 40 years of age for General (UR) category,
- 43 years for OBC category,
- 45 years for SC/ST category.
v) Sons of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police personnel, including Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), are eligible for age relaxation up to 29 years.
Mandatory Requirement for Delhi Police ConstableFor the post of Constable (Executive) Male in Delhi Police, candidates must hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license—covering either a motorcycle or a car—as of the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Learner’s licenses will not be considered valid.

Delhi Police Constable 2025 Exam Pattern
SSC will conduct Computer Based Examination mode throughout the Country. The online Computer Based Test on the following subjects will be conducted in HINDI and ENGLISH.

- The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will include a single objective-type paper comprising 100 questions, each worth one mark. The total duration of the online test will be 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes).
- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The question paper will be set at the Matriculation (10th standard) level and will consist of approximately 30% easy, 50% moderate, and 20% difficult questions.
- To qualify for the next stage (Physical Test), candidates must score the following minimum marks in the Computer Based Examination:
- General Category: 35%
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS: 30%
- Ex-servicemen:25%
Only candidates who meet or exceed these cutoff marks will be shortlisted category- wise for the Physical Test.

Reasoning Syllabus
The reasoning ability and analytical aptitude to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This section may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasons and figural classification, arithmetic number series,· non-verbal series, coding and decoding etc.
Numerical Ability Syllabus
This section will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and. Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work. etc.
General Knowledge/Current Affairs Syllabus
The syllabus of General Knowledge/Current Affairs is designed to test the candidate's general awareness around him/her and knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
The questions will be asked related to Indian and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Indian Economy, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Computer Syllabus
Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW and Web Browsers etc include questions on the following: -
- Elements of Word Processing (Word Processing Basics, Opening and closing Documents, Text Creation, Formatting the Text and its presentation features).
- MS Excel (Elements of Spread Sheet, Editing of Cells, Function and Formulas)
- Communication (Basics of E-mail, Sending/receiving of-Emails and its related functions)
- Internet, WWW and Web Browsers (Internet, Services on Internet, URL, HTTP, FTP, Web sites, Blogs, Web Browsing Software, Search Engines, Chat, Video conferencing, e-Banking).
Delhi Police Constable 2025 Admit Card
The admit card/call letters for the Delhi Police 2025 Constable exam will be released 15 days before the exam. The Delhi Police Constable Admit Card will be released officially on the regional websites of the Staff Selection Commission.
Delhi Police Constable 2025 Answer Key
Delhi Police will release Delhi Police Constable Answer Key 2025 for its computer-based test (CBT) Exam within the 15 days of the last date of the exam. The provisional answer key is released followed by the release of the final Delhi Police Constable Answer Key on the official website.

Delhi Police Constable 2025 Result
The results for the Delhi Police Constable 2025 examination will be announced after the completion of the written test.
