INSTRUCTION FOR CANDIDATES
Eligibility
  • Candidate must have practical knowledge of Hindi writing in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture
Educational Qualification
  • Passed Senior Secondary or 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized School/Board
  • To be eligible for the post of Constable Driver, the applicant must have both valid driving licenses (L/H) made one year before 01-01-2026.
  • Only those candidates who have passed the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)-2024 can fill the online application form.

NOTE :- It will be mandatory to bring a printout of the online application form at the time of physical efficiency test.

AGE

As per Rule-11 of Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989, relaxation of 1 year in upper age has been provided for all applicants and age will be calculated as per 1st January, 2026 as per the following.

Medical Criteria
  1. As per the guidelines issued by the Personnel Department regarding health examination, the minimum near vision should be 6 (better eye) and 6 (worse eye). Minimum vision of both eyes should be 6X6 (better eye) and 6X9 (worse eye) with or without correction like wearing glasses.
  2. The candidate should be mentally alert, of sound health and free from all physical disorders, defects, diseases. The candidate should not be suffering from mental illness.
  3. The candidate should not have knock-knees, swollen veins, squint, night blindness, colour vision defect, stammering, flat feet, hernia, surgical problem or any other deformity/disfigurement which may impede performance of duties.

Written Examination
  • The question paper of written examination will be of 150 marks, which will have 150 objective type questions and the time duration will be 2 hours.
  • 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. 25% of the marks allotted for the question will be deducted for the wrong answer.

  • To pass the written examination question paper, candidates of General, Economically Weaker Section, Backward Class and Most Backward Class category will have to obtain 40% marks in total, minimum passing limit will not apply for candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.
  • Ex-Servicemen will be given relaxation of 5% overall from the prescribed passing marks of the respective category to pass the written examination as per the notification of the State Government. Note :- Written examination will not be conducted for the applicants of Constable Band.
Physical Efficiency Test
  • Candidates who qualify the written test 5 times the number of vacancies post wise/category wise/female/male and applicants for Constable Band post will be included in the Physical Efficiency Test.
  • Before appearing in the Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate will have to submit a certificate from the Government Doctor stating that he is physically fit to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (Race) at the concerned centre. Only after that the candidate will be included in the Physical Efficiency Test.
Criteria set for Physical Efficiency Test
  • In order to qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test, all the candidates are required to complete the 5 km race within the time limit as given below.

  • Candidates who qualify in Physical Efficiency Test will be included in Physical Measurement Test.
Efficiency Test
For Constable Driving/Band Posts
  • Efficiency test will be conducted for the applicants who qualify in Physical Efficiency Test and Measurement Test, which will be of 30 marks. To pass the proficiency test, it will be mandatory to get 40% marks for general category, economically weaker section, backward class and extremely backward class candidates, 36% for SC and ST category candidates, 30% for local general, SC/ST candidates of Tribal Sub-Plan area and 25% for Sahariya candidates.

NOTE :- The marks obtained in the proficiency test will be included for final selection.

Health Test

After declaration of selection list, applicants will be made to undergo medical test by State Medical Board, in which only those candidates who are found fit will be considered eligible for appointment.
